The fact that Yahoo Japan’s website design hasn’t changed stood out as a living statement that the Japanese web market is very conservative. Hope Yahoo’s design change will help Japan web market break out of its conservativeness.

According to NetRatings, Yahoo! Japan had 31.8B UVs in May 2007, while Yahoo US had only 31.6B UVs, and Myspace at 29.6B UVs in the same period.
