Yahoo Japan website design finally changing

Posted on: Web20asia.com

It looks that Yahoo! Japan will finally change its website design, for the first time since its launch in pre-2000.

The fact that Yahoo Japan’s website design hasn’t changed stood out as a living statement that the Japanese web market is very conservative. Hope Yahoo’s design change will help Japan web market break out of its conservativeness.

P.S. By the way, did you know that Yahoo! Japan is the most trafficked site among all Yahoo sites, which also means it’s the world’s single most frequently visited website? According to NetRatings, Yahoo! Japan had 31.8B UVs in May 2007, while Yahoo US had only 31.6B UVs, and Myspace at 29.6B UVs in the same period.
